Drive-Up registration and voter assistance events are being held at the Sherman & Ruth Wiess Community Library, 10788 WI -77, in Hayward on Wednesdays during Aug, Sept and through October 14 from 10AM-2PM. Masks are mandatory. A valid DMV issued license or DMV issued photo ID is required to use the MyVote.wi.gov online services. Paper forms are available for registration and absentee ballot requests.

Communities United by Water came together at the Ashland, Wisconsin Band Shell on July 1, 2020 to challenge Enbridge to a traditional game of Lacrosse to settle their differences.
The group walked from the Lake Superior waterfront to the Enbridge pipeline contractors headquarters south of the city and made their challenge. Nobody answered the door. In fact the place was empty, until the next day July 2, when several trucks, as had been the case, were on site. Good afternoon! Last night, we had the opportunity to meet with a number of you during our Annual Meeting, at which time we elected our board and officers. As the new president, I look forward to working with all of you and do my best to ensure that you have information as timely as possible. Click this post to find some very important information regarding the DNR hearing on Line 5 tomorrow. Our Natural Resources Advocacy Committee has been working diligently in partnership with a number of key organizations to support the League's position on decommissioning Line 5. Tomorrow we have an extremely important meeting and we hope that those who can will attend, and all who wish to will testify either verbally or in writing. —Sue Niemi
