The League communicates with our members, friends and the outside world with Newsletters, Website, local newspapers, Social Media, Eblasts to members, posters and flyers. Within our League we communicate and organize through the use of Google Workspace, a set of applications that permits us to have internal files, League emails, coordinate calendar, etc.

Natural Resources Advocacy Committee

Joan Elias, Chair

Natural Resources Committee: This committee advocates for protection and preservation of natural resources including land, water, and air. Protecting and improving water quality and quantity of both surface and ground water are of particular interest. The committee is guided by LWV local, state, and national positions.

Voter Services/Candidate Forum Committee

We believe that every eligible voter should have a fair and equal opportunity to vote and cast their ballot. LWV/ABC Voter Services volunteers each year engage voters and voters-to-be with voter registration materials. The Voter Services Committee helps voters get to know the candidates and issues in upcoming elections, primarily by holding forums for candidates for our area's state and local offices. At the forums, all questions come from the audience, so attendees can hear the candidates address issues of interest to them.
