Below you will find a call to action on fair redistricting. We need you to contact the Wisconsin Supreme Court to share your opinion about the proposed rule that would allow the Wisconsin Supreme Court to claim jurisdiction on any future redistricting legislation, effectively limiting the review of fair maps and rushing the process altogether. Help us portray the election as clear, decisive and done. Shift our focus toward the future.

We know that the media will continue to cash in on the chaos that gets them views. If you are asked about specific actions taken or allegations made by the outgoing administration, we encourage you to continue focusing on the fact that we the people pick our leaders and that the will of the people is clear. When you must talk about the disinformation, be sure to ascribe motivations and frame attempts to discredit the results as a desperate attempt to validate a narrative by those who have lost. Use the 866-678-8683 number for Individual Issues.
For Jurisdictional Issues contact: Anne Chartier at 715-292-3598 (mobile) or 715-682-9418 (landline) or via email at achartiercoates@gmail.com.

If you or someone you know has an absentee ballot that has not been turned in yet, we strongly encourage it is put it in your municipality's voter drop box (if available) or turned in at the polls on election day to ensure that vote is counted. Ballots received after election day will not be counted, so we cannot encourage this action strongly enough. In other words, it may be too late to mail it in at this point to be received in time. If you have any questions at all, please contact your local municipal clerk for direction.

Fair Maps Referendum: Vote YES!

Fair Maps Referendum: Vote YES!

On Nov. 3, Wisconsin voters in 11 counties, as well as the city of Racine, will have the opportunity to vote on an advisory referendum regarding whether the Legislature should ban gerrymandering and adopt a process of independent, nonpartisan redistricting.

The counties that are holding these referendums are: Adams, Bayfield, Brown, Crawford, Door, Dunn, Iowa, Jefferson, Kenosha, Rusk, and Waushara. To date, 17 counties and more than a dozen municipalities have already passed such non-binding referendums, and by overwhelming margins each time.

In addition, 53 of Wisconsin’s 72 county boards have passed resolutions urging the Legislature to pass a law requiring independent, nonpartisan redistricting. These counties represent more than 75% of Wisconsin’s citizens.

We urge voters in these 11 counties to vote ‘yes’ on these referendums.
